• Has its own address, controlled independently from the central panel.

Mechanical bells (Bells)

Features:

How to install a fire alarm bell

Step 1: Determine the appropriate location for the bell

• Choose a place that is easy to hear, easy to see, airy, and not blocked by sound or flashing lights (if any).
• Ideal location: hallway, near exit, public area.
• Recommended height: 2 – 2.5 meters from the floor.

Step 2: Fix the bell base to the ceiling/wall

Use a drill and screws to firmly attach the bell base to the selected location.

Make sure the fixed surface is flat and not wet.

Step 3: Connect the wires according to the diagram

Connect the 24VDC power source from the fire alarm panel to the bell.

Ensure the correct polarity (+/-) if it is a conventional bell.

For addressable bells (such as GST I-9403), it is necessary to connect an additional loop signal wire and set the address using a programming device.

Step 4: Attach the bell body to the base

After completing the wiring, insert the bell body into the base and screw it in place according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 5: Check and test the system

Supply power to the fire alarm system.

Perform a test fire alarm activation (by switch, detector simulation, etc.) to check:

• The bell rings at the correct intensity.
• Flashing light (if any) is bright.
• No short circuit or system error.
