Searidge Technologies selects Bosch cameras to support airport runway area management solutions

Searidge Technologies, a provider of Remote Tower Management and Runway Optimization solutions for airports and Air Navigation Service providers worldwide, has successfully integrated Bosch IP cameras into its solution. This solution helps operators manage traffic density in all weather conditions, day and night, a key factor in continuous airport operations.

Searidge Technologies, a provider of Remote Tower Management and Air Area Optimization solutions for airports and Air Navigation Service providers worldwide, has successfully integrated Bosch IP cameras into its solution.

Searidge applies Bosch's MIC IP starlight 7000 HD pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera series and Bosch's DINION IP starlight 8000 MP camera, helping observers monitor and manage air area activities more conveniently and effectively. This solution helps operators manage traffic density in all weather conditions, day and night, a key factor in the continuous operation of the airport.

To meet Searidge’s requirements, surveillance data collected from Bosch starlight cameras is aggregated and processed through complex algorithms, thereby creating a panoramic view of the airport’s apron, gate, taxiway and runway areas. Images are displayed directly to users such as traffic controllers, operators or supervisors, who can also view archived and reviewed data at any time.

Bosch starlight cameras are designed to capture excellent images even in the lowest light conditions. Even when other cameras switch to monochrome mode, Bosch starlight products still provide full-color image data. In addition, when ambient light is at a minimum, the DINION IP starlight 8000 MP camera can still display clear color quality with a resolution of up to 5 megapixels. The MIC IP starlight 7000 HD is a robust PTZ camera that ensures performance even in harsh environmental conditions such as high temperatures, rain or snow storms, strong winds or vibrations.

Bosch starlight cameras are currently used by Searidge Technologies to support airport area operations management for airports around the world, including the Remote Situation Warning and Area Management solution at Dubai International Airport, the Remote Tower Management solution at Budapest Airport and the Remote Airport Operations model at Milano Malpensa and Linate airports.
