In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyễn Quân, Minister of Science and Technology, emphasized:
“Organizing Techno Japan 2013 is a highly meaningful and necessary activity. This event will serve as a bridge to promote technical and technological exchange, cooperation, investment, and technology transfer between Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises. It will also offer Vietnamese businesses opportunities to access Japan’s most advanced scientific and technological achievements in key development fields of Vietnam such as security technology, information technology, energy technology, space technology, biotechnology, and environmental treatment technology.”
Within the framework of Techno Japan 2013 and VN–Security, several side workshops were held to support Vietnamese enterprises with advanced solutions, modern approaches, and the latest policies regarding foreign investment and technology transfer. This was a valuable opportunity for KPS, in particular, and for Vietnamese scientists and businesses in general to discover optimal technologies, equipment, and potential partners for cooperation.
