The Bosch CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System redefines user-friendliness and performance in conference technology. With its compact, lightweight and ergonomic design, the system is ideal for small and medium-sized conference spaces – such as town halls, local business centres and courthouses – and is easy to transport and install for rental companies.

The new Expansion Unit and software update enhance the functionality of the Bosch CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System. The Expansion Unit provides additional system performance, allowing venue owners, rental companies, building managers and conference attendees to expand the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System to up to 245 devices. In addition, Bosch has also released a new software update that enhances the system’s functionality and offers greater flexibility to attendees and system integrators.

Expanding the system to 245 attendees

The Bosch CCS 1000 D Extension Unit enables the system to accommodate conferences of up to 245 participants. It can be easily connected to the Bosch Digital Discussion System and comes with an integrated optical splitter for easy installation at any point in the system. The CCS 1000 D Extension Unit has three power supplies and is protected against short circuits.

The software update enhances functionality

Multiple users can connect to the central unit to control meetings or view system status. For example, a secretary can control the system from the same unit used in the city council’s operations system. With the intervention microphone function, a discussion device can be set up as a central microphone. When placed at the podium, it can be used by guests, temporarily blocking other attendees' microphones. Users can now also customize discussion devices to standby mode, a power-saving feature that pauses the meeting and stops audio during breaks.

In addition, the Application Programming Interface (API) now allows users to customize the touch and connectivity to third-party solutions, as well as control the system and view information about the system status. Using the API, system integrators can now build software solutions or interfaces for external applications according to different needs. Thanks to this software update, the Bosch CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System has increased compatibility with popular third-party video switchers such as TV One CorioMatrix Video Switchers and Kramer MV6 Video Switchers.
