ABB Guard Unit is a central device dedicated to the security department or reception in ABB's intelligent intercom system. Equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT touch screen and 6 soft-touch buttons, Guard Unit provides an intuitive, easy-to-use operating experience, while allowing effective handling of incoming calls from door stations, apartments or other security stations (if any).

One of the outstanding features of the device is the Intercept Mode - allowing the security department to actively control and monitor incoming calls before forwarding them to residents. This mode can be set automatically or manually, applied to the entire system or individually for each apartment, helping to enhance the level of safety and privacy.

In addition to flexible communication capabilities, ABB Guard Unit also supports image monitoring from cameras mounted at external door stations or integrated analog cameras, providing an overview of the entrance area, helping security personnel easily monitor, identify and respond promptly to unusual situations.

In particular, the device has the ability to store missed calls and warning notifications in memory, supporting quick history lookup - an important factor in long-term security tracking and control.

In terms of design, ABB Guard Unit can be flexibly installed in both ways: wall-mounted or table-mounted, suitable for many different working spaces. With a compact design (144 x 198 x 45 mm) and modern design style, the product is easily integrated into any professional security management system in high-end apartment buildings, isolated residential areas, hotels, offices or industrial parks.
