FM200 Fire Extinguisher SFS-C140 140L/42 bar

The SFS-C140 cylinder is a specialized fire extinguisher designed to quickly and effectively extinguish fires. The cylinder is made from forged steel with a capacity of 140L, used in the SFS-200 fire suppression system. It contains FM-200 / HFC-227ea fire extinguishing gas, pressurized with nitrogen to a pressure of 50 bar / 42 bar at 21°C. The cylinder is equipped with a valve at the top, a pressure gauge, and optionally, a pressure gauge with an integrated monitoring contact. The valve also includes a safety pressure relief valve, making it suitable for protecting areas with high safety requirements such as:

Transformer rooms, electrical rooms, generator rooms

Each fire extinguisher comes with a standard pressure gauge, and as per design requirements, a pressure gauge with a monitoring contact can be chosen. This allows remote monitoring of the cylinder's pressure via the fire alarm system, providing accurate information on the system's operational status.

The system operates automatically when it receives a control signal from the fire alarm system. The solenoid valve opens, activating the discharge of 1L, 0.65kg of CO2 from the booster cylinder. The pressure increases, opening the zone selection valve (if present), and activates the FM-200 cylinders to discharge the fire extinguishing gas through the piping system and nozzles.
