The WV-U2542LA camera uses a 1/2.7-inch CMOS image sensor, providing clear video capture in various lighting conditions with a minimum illumination of 0.21 lx for color images and 0 lx when using the infrared LED light. With its automatic white balance adjustment (ATW1/ATW2/AWC), the camera ensures accurate colors in any lighting environment.

Equipped with a 2.9 mm – 7.3 mm focal length lens and 2.5x optical zoom, the camera offers a wide viewing angle ranging from 43° to 100° (horizontal) and 24° to 56° (vertical). The digital noise reduction and video motion detection (VMD) features enhance surveillance efficiency, while it supports SD card recording (up to 512GB).

The camera supports network connectivity via an RJ45 port (10Base-T/100Base-TX), with high-resolution output up to 2688x1520 (30fps) and supports H.265/H.264 video compression standards, optimizing bandwidth usage while maintaining high-quality video.
