Simplex 4017ES is a new generation addressable fire alarm control panel, designed to meet the fire safety needs of medium and large projects. The system integrates advanced IDNet2 SLC technology, supports up to 250 address points, combined with addressable bell/horn/light control capabilities (IDNAC) to reduce installation costs, improve monitoring and notification efficiency.

Simplex 4017ES Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel is a highly integrated solution, meeting NFPA 72 standards and the strict requirements of modern fire protection systems, suitable for medium and large projects requiring high reliability. The system uses IDNet2 SLC technology to support up to 250 addressable points per loop, Class A or Class B configuration with T-tap, allowing for bilateral communication, continuous monitoring of each device status, displaying custom labels up to 40 characters and reducing wiring costs.

TrueAlarm/TrueSense sensors combine optical, thermal, CO smoke sensors with drift compensation, “near dirty/dirty” warning and sensitivity testing, reducing false alarms, extending maintenance cycles; optional combination base saves addresses and optimizes installation space.

The IDNAC system integrates a stable 4A/29VDC power supply, supports up to 127 addressable notification devices per line, allows for line extension, smaller wire, light/strobe synchronization and point-by-point monitoring. Class A/X Digital Audio & Communications (DAR) block supports up to 6 50W (25V/70V) amplifiers, combined with pre-recorded or live voice broadcast, meeting ECS/MNS scenarios and inter-zone evacuation.

Diverse expansion capabilities with loop modules, remote amplifiers, touch screen annunciators, large capacity external battery cabinets and dedicated EOL accessories, helping to flexibly meet all design, construction and operation requirements. The combination of comprehensive addressability, intelligent NAC power, multi-sensor fire detection and digital audio communication creates a fire alarm - emergency notification system with outstanding accuracy, reliability and scalability, optimizing life-cycle costs and ensuring safety for the project.

• Flip-out front panel with latch, allowing convenient internal access.
• Smooth cabinet surface, easy to drill wiring holes at desired location.
• All modules are power-limited, except those specified in the installation documentation.
• Battery compartment holds up to 2 x 18 Ah batteries, charges batteries up to 33 Ah when using external battery cabinet.
• Earthquake certified to IBC, CBC, ASCE 7 Class A–F; requires anti-vibration battery mount.

Expansion Modules & Accessories

• IDNet2 Loop Expansion Module (4007-9803): Expands the number of addressable points from the basic configuration of 100 points to a maximum of 250 points, each module adds 75 points, supports Class A or Class B.
• Remote Amplifier & NAC Expander: Increases power for emergency broadcast system and bell/light alarm circuits. NAC Expander supports 3 Class A/B outputs, independently programmable, providing both audio and auxiliary power.
• Touchscreen Annunciator: Remote color touch screen, up to 6 units on one system, allowing operation and monitoring from multiple locations in the building.
• Power supply & battery expansion: Provides up to 100W for amplifier and 2.5A for auxiliary loads, supports large capacity battery (up to 33Ah) in auxiliary cabinet or separate cabinet, meeting longer power backup requirements.
• Network Interface Card (NIC) for ES Net: Allows 4017ES to connect to ES Net Class A/X network, synchronized with central cabinets and other devices.
• Relay, connection module and connection accessories: Including alarm relay, auxiliary relay, city tie, battery fixing bracket for areas with anti-vibration/anti-earthquake (seismic) requirements.
