Wall Mount Weatherproof Notification Appliances are addressable fire alarm devices designed for wall installation, with weatherproof construction resistant to water and dust. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, particularly in harsh environments with extreme temperature or humidity. Two main types are available:

• Visual Only (V/O): Strobe light only.

• Audible/Visible (A/V): Combination of horn and strobe.

These devices operate on the Simplex IDNAC SLC two-wire system, receiving power, supervision, and control signals directly from the fire alarm control panel — highly efficient and cost-effective.

• Individually addressable with full supervision: Each device has a unique ID, monitored via the SLC, simplifying inspection and maintenance.

• Stable 29 VDC regulated power: Provides consistent voltage even under battery backup, reduces current draw, and supports longer wiring distances.

• Weatherproof housing (IP / NEMA): Rugged enclosure resistant to weather and water spray, ideal for outdoor use.

• Multi-candela programming: Strobes support selectable light output — e.g., 20, 30, 75, or WP75/WP185 cd for V/O models; A/V horns support coded tones (Temporal Code 3/4, March Time) with selectable high/low volume.

• Self-Test & Magnet Test: Remote self-diagnostics or quick on-site testing using a magnet — including LED pulsing and horn/strobe response.

• Device Reports: Control panel can generate detailed reports showing device address, custom label, type, and candela/sound level.

• Reduced installation & maintenance costs: Addressable technology and T-tap wiring reduce cabling, materials, and time, while simplifying future upgrades.

• ADA compliant synchronization: Automatic strobe synchronization per ADA requirements, with no additional modules required.

• Certified compliance: Meets UL 1638, UL 1971, ULC S526 (strobes), ULC S525 (horns), FM, and ADA standards.
