Simplex Incident Manager (SIM) is an advanced fire alarm network control platform that enables centralized management, monitoring, and coordination of large-scale fire alarm systems. The software runs on the SIM server or remote devices, meeting modern requirements for safety and security.

Software Components

The software includes:

• SIM Configurator: Used to configure hardware, ES Net nodes, system settings, and build monitoring “jobs.”

• SIM Server: Executes the jobs created with Configurator on the main computer.

• SIM Client: Allows remote job operation — available in supervised and view-only (unsupervised) modes.

• File Transfer: Updates firmware for ES Net cards.

• Backup Utility: Automatically backs up system data and jobs to a secondary drive.

• SIM also supports full-color maps to quickly pinpoint incident locations, ensuring precise and efficient emergency response.
