The TrueAlert ES 59WP is an outdoor notification appliance from Simplex, integrating advanced addressable technology that allows each device to have a unique address, monitored and controlled from the fire alarm control panel. The system connects via IDNAC Signaling Line Circuits (SLCs), providing a regulated 29 VDC supply for stable operation on both primary and backup power.

• Multi-candela LED strobe: Programmable or pre-selected candela settings: low (15, 30, 75 cd) and high (110, 135, 185 cd).

• Two specialized versions:

  • Visible Only (V/O) – strobe only.

  • Audible/Visible (A/V) – horn and strobe combination.

• Low current, energy efficient: High-efficiency LED ensures reliable operation even on backup battery power.

• Self-test and diagnostics:

  • Self-Test Mode: Automatic horn and strobe test, reported back to the panel.

  • Magnet Test: Local test with magnet – LED flash (Silent Test) or LED + horn (Operational Test).

• Detailed device reporting: Panel displays ID, label, type, candela setting… for easier maintenance and compliance.

• Rugged and easy installation:

  • Impact-resistant, flame-retardant thermoplastic housing. Available in red with white lettering or white with red lettering.

  • Mounts to outdoor single-gang weatherproof back box. Covers are removable without disrupting wiring.

  • UL 1638 (outdoor strobe), UL 1971 (indoor & ADA), UL 464 (horn), ULC S526 (strobe).

  • CSFM listed (California State Fire Marshal) per code 13144.1.

• Flexible wiring with T-Tap: Supports Class B (T-tap) or Class A wiring, saving cabling and simplifying expansion.

• Automatic ADA synchronization: Built-in strobe synchronization without external modules.

• Digital maintenance & reporting: Status data and test history retrievable from the control panel for compliance reporting.
