Simplex 4-Wire Horn/Strobe

The Simplex 4-Wire Horn/Strobe is a non-addressable audio-visual (A/V) notification appliance that uses 4-wire operation, allowing independent control of horn and strobe functions:

• NAC1 (Notification Appliance Circuit 1): controls the strobe

• NAC2 (Notification Appliance Circuit 2): controls the horn

This device is MEA approved (NYC Department of Buildings, MEA35-93E), certified for use in New York City.

• Independent audio-visual control: Horn and strobe can operate separately, supporting “on-until-silenced” for horn and “on-until-reset” for strobe.

• Selectable strobe modes: Device switch allows choosing Free-Run (independent flashing) or Synchronized operation with synchronization modules.
