Simplex 4098-5293 Heat Sensor

The Simplex 4098-5293 Heat Sensor, part of the Foundation Series, uses MX Technology to communicate with Simplex 2050 and 2250 FACUs. Designed to detect abnormal temperature conditions, it is ideal for dusty environments or locations unsuitable for smoke detection.

• Transmits analog temperature values to the FACU for processing.

• High-quality electronic heat sensing element with low thermal lag for fast, accurate response.

• Selectable alarm thresholds at the FACU:

  • 135°F (57°C) or 200°F (93°C).

  • With or without rate-of-rise option: 15°F (8.4°C) per minute.

• Supplied with a protective dust cover for storage and installation.

• Complies with UL 521 standard.
