The 4098-5255 MX Photo/Heat Sensor is a versatile multi-sensor device in the MX series, designed to detect both smoke and heat simultaneously. It uses a photoelectric element to sense smoke—particularly from smoldering fires—and a heat sensor to track rising temperatures, providing reliable response to a wide range of fire conditions, from slow smoldering to fast-flaming.
