The Simplex 2004FS Fire Alarm Control Unit (FACU) provides flexible initiating circuit monitoring for areas requiring one to four initiating zones.

Key Features

• Convenient display & setup: Status LEDs, DIP switch settings on the main board, USB connection to PC for configuration, event log viewing, and software updates.

• Built-in DACT: Supports Contact ID format, silent or audible system walk test mode.

• 4 standard IDC circuits: Class B, individual zone disable, supports photoelectric smoke detectors, heat detectors, combination detectors, and manual pull stations.

• 1 standard NAC circuit: Class A/B, 1.5A, supports SmartSync™ horn/strobe control or synchronized strobe.

• Standard power supply: 3A @ 24V DC, auto-sensing 120VAC or 240VAC input, battery charger supports up to 12.7Ah.

• Other features: 3 auxiliary relays, red cabinet, UL 864 listed, optional city circuit module and remote LED annunciators.

• 18 AWG twisted pair, max 4000 ft (1219 m)

• Line end resistor or resistor at farthest device required

• Recommended overvoltage protector: 2081-9044 for outdoor/indoor wiring transitions
