The BACpac modules are protocol converter devices that translate the proprietary Computer Port Protocol of the Simplex Fire Alarm Control Unit (FACU) into industry-standard protocols such as BACnet or Modbus, enabling seamless integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS).

They convert data from the RS-232 Port B of the FACU into BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP (RS-485), or Modbus TCP/RTU.

Each BACpac module comes preconfigured with basic settings and pseudo-points mapped to BACnet objects.

• 4100ES, 4100U series, NDU (Simplex Network Display Units)

• 4010ES series

• Legacy systems such as 4100, 4100+, 4120 (may require software upgrade).
