The Simplex 4100-1274 is a microphone multiplexing module for the Simplex 4100ES/4100U fire alarm and emergency announcement system. This device allows for the expansion of the number of remote microphones beyond the standard limit, meeting the stringent requirements of Mass Notification systems according to UFC (Unified Facilities Criteria) standards, especially in military, aviation, and critical infrastructure applications.

Each 4100-1274 module converts one standard microphone input into up to eight remote microphones, facilitating convenient placement of announcement points and ensuring the microphone reach does not exceed 200 ft (61 m) as required by UFC-4-021-01.
