The Simplex 4098-5267 MX Heat Sensor-Isolator is a heat-only detector designed for use with the Simplex MX addressable technology. A key feature is its built-in isolator, which protects the MX loop circuit in case of a short circuit, ensuring the rest of the system remains fully operational. The sensor transmits analog temperature signals to the control panel for processing.

  • Fixed temperature at 135 °F (57 °C) or 200 °F (93 °C)

• Integrated isolator – Automatically disconnects the device from the loop during a short circuit, allowing the rest of the MX loop to continue normal operation.

• Soft Addressing – Supports intelligent address assignment via QR code scanning using tools such as Digital Enrollment or the 850EMT programmer, minimizing addressing errors.
