The 4098-5266 MX Photo Sensor-Isolator is an addressable photoelectric smoke detector in the Simplex MX Technology series, featuring a built-in isolator. This design not only provides reliable smoke detection but also protects the MX loop circuit from short-circuit faults, ensuring continuous and stable system operation.

• Optimized optical chamber – Proprietary design improves signal-to-noise ratio, resists dust and small insects, and reduces maintenance frequency. The chamber also allows slow smoke entry, ensuring a faster and more sensitive fire response.

• Integrated isolator – Automatically disconnects the sensor in the event of an MX loop short circuit, allowing the rest of the system to remain operational.

• MX Fastlogic – Intelligent signal-processing algorithm based on real fire data, minimizing false alarms while maintaining high sensitivity to actual fire conditions.

• Soft Addressing via QR code – Each detector includes a QR code for address assignment using the Digital Enrollment app or the 850EMT tool, eliminating address duplication or entry errors.

• Self-test and monitoring – Supports automatic self-diagnostics, continuous status monitoring, and remote LED indicator connection for off-site status signaling.
