Simplex 4090-9010 – 8 A Relay IAM

The Individual Addressable Relay Module (Relay IAM) provides two independent contacts:

• One Normally Open (Form A – NO) contact

• One Normally Closed (Form B – NC) contact

Both contacts are rated for 8 A load while occupying only one IDNet address. The device is powered directly from the IDNet communication line, requiring no auxiliary power.

Features

• Single IDNet address for both NO and NC contacts (8 A each).

• Latching relay design reduces power consumption; shares IDNet for both communication and power.

• On signal loss/restore, relay can be configured to:

  • Reset to default state, or

  • Hold the last state.

• Compatible with panels: 4007ES, 4008, 4010, 4010ES, 4100ES, 4100U.

• Flashing LED for communication status; configurable to show relay state.

• Compact design, installs in standard 4” square electrical box (optional adapter plate for 4-11/16” box).

• Trim plates with LED viewing window available for semi-flush or surface mounting.

• Approvals: UL 864, ULC, CSFM, FM.
