Simplex 2099 Series Manual Fire Alarm Stations

The Simplex 2099 Series Manual Fire Alarm Stations are manual fire alarm activation devices designed for wall mounting and hand operation. They are compatible with conventional (non-addressable) fire alarm systems.

Key Features

• Designed in compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

• When activated, the lever protrudes for easy visibility.

• Supports optional break-rod (anti-tamper plastic rod).

• Reset lock with B key (same as Simplex fire alarm control panels).

• Multiple operation options:

  • Single Action: Pull the lever once.

  • Double Action (Breakglass): Break the glass and pull the lever.

  • Double Action (Push type): Push the “PUSH” cover plate, then pull the lever.

  • Institutional Model: Activation only with a key.

Optional features:

• NO GRIP Retrofit kit (4099-9805): Easier to pull, ADA/CBC Title 24 compliant for accessibility.

• Local Alarm Cover: Provides local audible/visual signal before reporting to the main panel.

• Pre-Signal: Pre-alarm signal; requires a key to trigger the general alarm.

• Annunciator contacts (NO/NC): For auxiliary indication.

Operation

• Single Action: Firmly pull down; lever locks in “ALARM” position.

• Double Action (Breakglass): Break the glass, then pull the lever.

• Double Action (Push type): Push the “PUSH” cover plate, then pull the lever.

• Institutional: Only authorized personnel with a key can activate.

• Reset: Use the key to unlock, return the lever to normal position, replace break-rod/glass if broken.

Installation

• Surface mount, semi-flush, or flush mounting.

• Mounting boxes: 2975-9178 (steel) or 2975-9022 (cast iron).

• Optional flush adapter kits: Black (2099-9819), Beige (2099-9820).

• Compatible with Wiremold box (V5744S).
