Simplex 2008-9101 Fire Alarm Control Panel

The Simplex 2008-9101 is a standard fire alarm control panel from the Foundation Series. It supports up to 8 fire alarm zones and allows monitoring of various triggering devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, emergency push buttons, sprinkler flow switches, and contact monitoring devices. The choice of Class B or Class A configuration provides flexibility in design, suitable for different technical standards and construction conditions.

The Simplex 2008-9101 is equipped with a 2 x 20-character LCD screen combined with dedicated status LEDs, allowing for clear display of Alarm, Supervisory, Trouble, and power status. Operators can quickly identify the fault area, signal type, and system processing status.

The ability to program directly on the control panel via the integrated keypad or via a PC (USB) port makes system configuration, maintenance, and upgrades convenient. The control panel supports event history storage in non-volatile memory, ensuring data is not lost in the event of a power outage.

Regarding output alarms, the Simplex 2008-9101 integrates two NAC (Near-Acting Alarm) circuits with a load current of up to 1.5 A each, supporting Class A or Class B. The control panel is compatible with Simplex SmartSync™, allowing for synchronization of alarm bells and lights, ensuring clear and consistent alarm signals throughout the building.

The system includes a built-in dual-line DACT, using the Contact ID signal transmission standard, meeting the requirements for connection to a monitoring center or remote fire alarm transmission system. A 24VDC power supply with 3A output, along with an automatic temperature-compensated battery charger and battery status monitoring, ensures the system remains stable even during power outages.
