The DI-M9102 Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Detector (hereinafter referred to as the detector) can be integrated into a fire alarm system and connected to a Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). The detector illuminates its indicator LEDs to signal fire conditions and transmits alarm signals to the FACP.
Using infrared light scattering technology with an improved optical chamber, the detector receives only very weak infrared light under normal clean conditions. When smoke particles enter the chamber, the received light signal increases due to the scattering effect. Once the smoke density reaches a certain level, the detector generates an alarm signal. To reduce interference and power consumption, the emitting circuit operates in pulse mode, extending the service life of the infrared emitting diode.
