VNM Recorder is a digital recording and playback device that supports high-quality image, video, audio, and IP data stream recording through VN-Matrix encoders and decoders. This product is ideal for applications requiring the storage, review, and playback of complex imagery with high precision.

The device can simultaneously record up to five PURE3 streams and play them back in sync. For higher demands, multiple units can be combined to expand the number of recorded streams. VNM Recorder uses a networked storage architecture to optimize storage space and ensure flexibility. The system provides remote control capabilities with functions such as search, fast-forward/rewind, single-frame playback, and content looping.

VNM Recorder is equipped with powerful hardware, featuring a Super X7DCA-I motherboard, an Intel Xeon 2.33 GHz processor, 4 GB DDR2 ECC RAM, and a 2 TB RAID 5 storage system with a hot spare drive. The device runs on Red Hat Linux Enterprise v5.2 and supports management via a web interface, the VNM Enterprise Controller, or an external control system.

The device supports recording at various resolutions, including VGA to UXGA at 60 frames per second, WUXGA at 30 frames per second, and 1080p with multiple refresh rates. The system allows image export in JPEG or Targa formats for use in media productions.

VNM Recorder features a robust metal enclosure, designed for installation in a standard 4U rack. It includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, an RS-232 control port, USB 2.0 ports, and PS/2 interfaces for mouse and keyboard connections. The system operates reliably in environments ranging from 10 to 35 degrees Celsius and uses a 100-240V AC power supply with a consumption of 865W.
