The Extron SME 211 is a high-performance streaming media encoder that supports H.264 video encoding for transmitting audio and video over IP networks. The device receives HDMI signals with embedded audio and analog audio, integrating advanced signal processing technology to optimize content display from various sources.

The SME 211 supports both unicast and multicast streaming protocols, including RTMP for direct streaming to platforms like YouTube and Facebook Live. It can stream two independent video streams at different resolutions and bitrates simultaneously, with up to six concurrent streams. Additionally, the SME 211 features built-in audio mixing and DSP processing, eliminating the need for external equipment and enhancing audio quality.
