The Extron MPA 601 is a 60W RMS mono audio amplifier that meets ENERGY STAR® standards, featuring a compact, convection-cooled design without a fan. Certified UL 2043, the MPA 601 is ideal for ceiling installations, saving space and preventing equipment theft.

This amplifier utilizes advanced Class D technology with CDRS™ - Class D Ripple Suppression, enhancing signal fidelity and reducing noise compared to conventional Class D amplifiers. The MPA 601 supports three stereo audio inputs, which are summed into a mono output, allowing multiple audio sources to be connected simultaneously.

With an auto standby mode that activates after 25 minutes of inactivity, consuming only 8W when idle and less than 1W in standby, the MPA 601 significantly conserves energy. Additionally, it can be remotely controlled using Extron VC 50, VCM 100/200, or MediaLink Plus controllers.
