The i-PRO WV-RD5500-CE is an outdoor security radar device using 60GHz mmWave technology, made in Japan, providing accurate and stable intrusion detection over a wide area. With a 180° scanning angle, the device can detect vehicles up to 100m and people up to 70m, suitable for open areas, fences, and security perimeters.

The radar operates effectively in all lighting and weather conditions, unaffected by rain, fog, dust, or shadows, significantly reducing false alarms compared to traditional detection solutions. The WV-RD5500-CE supports direct connection of up to 4 i-PRO Edge-AI PTZ cameras, allowing the radar to detect and automatically control the cameras to pan, zoom, and track targets in real time, without the need for a central server for analysis.

The device features an integrated calibration camera, supporting precise installation and basic on-site image verification. With an IP66 and IK10 rating, and compliance with NDAA, TAA, and FIPS 140-3 Level 3 standards, the WV-RD5500-CE meets high durability, reliability, and security requirements for security, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
