In environments with limited visibility due to low light, smoke or darkness, the DINION IP thermal 8000 surveillance camera from Bosch offers excellent thermal monitoring, built-in Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA), and superior corrosion resistance (meets EN 50.130-5 salt mist test, with a durability of up to 1000 hours). The DINION IP thermal 8000 is therefore ideal for outdoor use in critical applications, such as protecting airport perimeters, government buildings or bridges.
Fast object detection
What makes the DINION IP thermal 8000 special is the combination of thermal imaging technology and the standard IVA output. The combination of these functions allows the surveillance camera to meet the needs of video content analysis at distances of up to 762m. The modern IVA function allows the device to distinguish between real security situations and false alarms caused by harsh environmental conditions, and is suitable for applications that require video analysis from a distance.
DINION IP thermal 8000 is available in a choice of resolutions: QVGA or VGA. The analysis function is easily configured thanks to the integrated gyro sensor. This sensor provides the necessary values for the automatic setup feature – the user only needs to enter the height of the camera to complete the configuration.
Data security
Bosch is maximizing data security with a four-step approach, combining physical protection and cyber security. This includes four criteria: reliability, information security, user access management and compliance with user IT standards.
Since cameras are often located at the farthest point in a security network, it is easy to overlook the need for security measures. Bosch has taken steps to ensure camera security. One way is that all Bosch IP cameras have a built-in Trusted Platform Module (TPM). This feature stores all the licenses and passwords needed for authentication and encryption. Even in the event of unauthorized access, TPM can ensure that the passwords are not disclosed.
