More than ever, customers are looking for integrated, cost-effective security solutions that can be used on a single platform for a variety of applications. To meet this need, Bosch is introducing the G and B Series systems and control panels. Both solutions integrate all physical security and safety platforms (intrusion, fire, access control, video surveillance) with mobile access functionality on a single system. Furthermore, the G and B Series offer users the flexibility to customize and integrate with other market-leading platforms.

Greater flexibility

Four new control panels are now available, including two G Series panels (B9512G, B8512G) and two B Series panels (B6512, B5512). In addition to keypad options such as LCD and touch-sensitive keypads, the two new Bosch product lines also feature comprehensive expansion modules and communication modules.

The G Series control panels provide up to 599 intrusion zones for large-area applications, while the B Series control panels offer 96 zones for small and medium-sized applications. Supported languages include English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. Customers can choose two languages for each system and choose the display language for each keypad and user. Text messages or email notifications can also be displayed in the selected language, making operation easier.

Built-in Ethernet support for the future-proof IPv6 network protocol allows alarm signals to be sent to the control station, eliminating the need for telephone wiring and reducing costs. Remote software updates make system maintenance easy. A plug-in card (for B Series) or two plug-in cards (for G Series) can be added to the panel, allowing the product to support alternative communication technologies such as cellular or telephone lines.

The system can also control up to 32 doors to limit access to specific user groups.

In addition, the system is UL commercial fire alarm certified (G Series) and UL residential fire alarm certified (B Series), so safety and security are further ensured.

At the same time, the system also has an audio notification function: A message from the speaker is sent when there is a sign of intrusion (safety threat). Therefore, the user can use an output of the monitoring panel to broadcast a message through the speaker.

The G and B Series systems integrate Bosch IP cameras directly, allowing motion monitoring to activate corresponding zones on the control panel. In addition, changes in the monitoring area trigger camera actions. Users see a continuously updated image of the situation via email sent to their mobile device. This is a great solution because no additional hardware or video management applications are required. The system also supports sophisticated video analytics functions, which are integrated directly into Bosch IP cameras.

More control

The remote programming function reduces costs and allows technical experts to customize the system remotely without having to visit the site. Updates can be performed remotely or on-site while ensuring easy maintenance and upgrades.

The free Remote Security Control app for iOS and Android devices allows arming and disarming one or more systems and zones, as well as monitoring doors and exits. Users can also view live video from Bosch IP cameras integrated into the panels.

More applications

The G and B Series are suitable for all sizes of applications and commercial sectors such as retail, banking, warehouses, office buildings and many other segments.

These new integrated security solutions are certified to UL 294, 365, 609, 636, 985, 1023, 1076, 1610, 1635 (for B and G Series), and UL 864 (for G Series only).

Therefore, they are suitable for use in countries that require UL certification. In addition, the G and B Series products can be installed in European, Middle Eastern and African countries without the need for EN certification. All products are CE certified. Find out more >> Here
