Bosch has launched the Bosch Video Management System 7.0 (BVMS 7.0), which enables security operators to efficiently manage high-resolution video streams in their daily operations.

With the rapid development of surveillance cameras, managing large volumes of high-resolution video data is becoming increasingly difficult. In areas such as metro stations and airports, where there are many cameras, the pressure on workstations is very high. If a workstation is overloaded, it will lead to application lag.

This is a major obstacle for security operators, who often have to monitor multiple cameras at the same time to ensure a complete and uninterrupted overview of a location, such as an airport lobby.

However, with BVMS 7.0 software, users can now operate multiple UHD (Ultra High Definition) cameras at the same time without having to worry about slowing down other applications. BVMS 7.0 uses "streamlining" technology. This technology automatically displays video at the most optimal resolution. If the manager needs to monitor multiple cameras at the same time, BVMS 7.0 will automatically adjust to a lower resolution. When the user needs detailed images to zoom in or observe in full screen mode, high-resolution video data will be automatically selected. This feature uses the multi-streaming capability available in Bosch IP cameras and will operate on the workstations themselves.

A new feature of BVMS 7.0 software is the ability to encrypt communication data between Bosch cameras and the Video Surveillance Management System. Security managers can encrypt all communications and surveillance video over a secure HTTPS connection, minimizing the risk of system attacks.
