Bosch AMC2 8-Door Access Control Controller
The AMC2 acts as a controller for a group of 1-8 access points. Access points, also known as main entry/exit points, primarily include doors, gates, security barriers, lane security gates, turnstiles, card readers, door opening/closing devices, and sensors.
The AMC2 8-door access control controller can manage up to 8 card readers (depending on the card type) and is designed to handle all entry and exit tasks at designated entrances. 8 analog inputs are used for status monitoring, while 8 relay outputs are used to activate door opening/closing devices or trigger security signals.
The AMC2 door control controller stores all necessary information in the system memory and storage memory. Therefore, even in an offline state, the controller can still control access point operations such as authenticating access requests, commanding gate opening or closing, and storing new events.
